The following players display all the characteristics of Team Pineapple volleyball players. Read the nominations below and you will understand why they were chosen as our Players of the Month!

Sidney Gerig comes night in and night out wanting to get better and be the best middle not only in the club, but in the area. She is continuing to learn what it will take for her to play at the next level and continuing to push herself outside of her comfort zone in order to better herself and the team. Sidney doesn't question things, she simply does as asked, which makes is one of the highest compliments as a coach I can give. - Coach Pat

Leah Zimmerman & Isabelle Shelton fought with every ounce they had to help the team reach the semifinals of a recent Smack Series; and the best part was seeing their intensity carry through to the final point. Both players served and played defense well. Isabelle kept putting balls in play from the outside by making smart decisions, and Leah led the team in aces and assists in the tournament. - Coach Andrew

14U-3's This team won a tourney this year beating several 2's teams, and after a rough start to the season really figured out how to dig deep and push through. In the tourney that they won, they finished as the third seed in their pool on day one, but due to the nature of the tourney had a shot at the gold pool the next day! On that day, they came to play and beat every team that had taken matches from them the day before! This included being down 14-9 in a third game and coming back to win 16-14. The next weekend they had a tough pool and although they didn't win the Gold, they did play hard and won the Silver Division. I could not be more proud of these girls in not only their team efforts, but also their individual improvements and increased competitive spirit that emerged as the season ended!
